I'll make this short: get this disc! This is one of the most amazing series of recorded piano music ever to come my way. Marius Dawn © Pianist, January 2016

Scherbakov always impresses me as a thinking man’s virtuoso. He is extremely capable; nothing sounds smeared or unclear, rhythms are crisp, and melodic lines are given their due, singing gracefully. Raymond Tuttle © 2016 Fanfare

…Scherbakov’s good sense and refinement makes him a good advocate for these transcriptions. The 6 Pieces for the Left Hand show an impressive display of left-hand dexterity. The Impromptu in particular makes a great show piece. The grandiose ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ has some interesting harmonies. Sang Woo Kang © 2016 American Record Guide

Scherbakov brushes off challenges, the arduous becoming the diaphanous.
